Main Curriculum Tie:
Early Childhood Education I
Strand 5 Standard 1

Identify and/or demonstrate positive employment characteristics (e.g., punctuality, teamwork, problem solving, dependability, respect).

LCD Machine, Computer, Magazines, Pattern Books, Store Advertisements, etc.

Intended Learning Outcomes:
Students will understand how to complete a job application, be prepared for the job interview, and know what employers expect from their workers.

Instructional Procedures:
See the attached lesson plan and activities. Additional activities can also include guest speakers, field trips, activities with school counselors and career center labs, etc.
