Summary:
Students will learn the various properties and uses of textiles through a lab experience

Fashion Design Studio
Strand 3 Standard 1

Identify basic fibers, the characteristics, use and care of the following textiles.

  • Textile Designer
  • Textile Printer

Materials:
All materials are outlined in lesson plan.

Background For Teachers:
Practice marbeling fabric, knowledge of textile careers.

Uses of synthetic and natural fibers.
