Instructional Procedures
- Use the paper to create a booklet with at least 6 pages. The book can be made with folded and stapled pages, origami folding, or any other method that will hold together. Many English or elementary teachers have learned creative ways to make booklets and they can assist you. Sometimes, students learned how to make them in elementary school and can demonstrate.
- After you have discussed the five kingdoms of life, have the students set up the pages, one page for the title and student's name and five more pages, one for each of the kingdoms. Students should use their textbooks or any other resources that you have available to complete the pages with:
- Name of kingdom
- Distinguishing characteristics of that kingdom
- At least three examples for each kingdom, with a clear, realistic illustration and name for each
