Materials

Instructional Procedures

  1. Run string through the name tags and copy enough for your largest classes.
  2. Give students a name tag to place around their neck and a copy of the student sheet. If you want to award a small prize or extra points for the student with the most "bonds" describe what that is to the students.
  3. Describe the game and give them time to move around the room and "bond". You may wish to assign the same "animal sound" (moo, bark, meow) to matching pairs. The students make the sound until they find each other. You could also have them say the name of a scientist or any other way to find their match. Write the sounds or names of scientists on each tag.
