Intended Learning Outcomes

Instructional Procedures

Have students take out their notes for this unit. Have them take notes from the outline on the overhead projector as you discuss each topic as a class. Once the notes are complete, hand out a copy of the text worksheet 2-1 & 2-2 to each student. Have students turn to unit two in the textbook. Students should complete the worksheets according to the instructions on each page. Turn the rest of the class period over to the students to complete the worksheet.

Strategies for Diverse Learners

Struggling students can be given copies of the note outlines to highlight as you go through them as a class.
