Summary: Do you need some "real estate" on the Web, but have no time to build it? Do you need to be able to effectively communicate with parents outside of class time? You can post information such as your disclosure, assignments, schedule and resources easily without spending a dime using UEN web tools. If you lack time or knowledge to get into web site building, this class is for you. We guarantee you'll have a web site to be proud of at the end of the class!

Main Curriculum Tie: Educational Technology - (Grades 6-8)Standard 1 Apply strategies for identifying and solving routine hardware and software problems that occur during everyday use. (1) Materials: The following are material and resources used in class:

Intended Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Build a class web site using tools such as My.UEN, Virtual Tours, & My Edesk.
- Evaluate and select appropriate curriculum-related features such as quiz, post board, or additional high-quality resource links
- Include disclosure document, assignments, and other important information that parents and students need to know into their sites.
- Upload documents for web access.
- Use My.UEN for accessing the new site.
Assessment Plan: To recieve credit for this class you must:
Develop a class site using the UEN tools. The site needs to provide important and/or required information to students, parents, colleagues and members of the community as appropriate. It should include at least 5 topics/subtopics/activities, 3 graphics and 1 downloadable document. Include at least one of the following options:
- Post board
- Quiz
- Related Web sites or Web Resources list
