Summary

The students will be developing a personal philosophy about marriage while participating in powerpoint presentation, classroom activities, and discussion. Student will compose a personal list of characteristics, qualities, and values desired in a marriage partner.
Also, the students will discuss why "You Don't Marry What You Want You Marry What You are".

Background for Teachers

Teachers need to know the importance of mate selection.
They need to go through the lesson plan material (activities,
power point presentation, and stories) so they feel comfortable
in presenting the material to their students.


Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will understand the importance of knowing what
characteristics, qualities, and values they desire in
their future mate.
