Summary: Designed for those who are unfamiliar with visual learning and the use of graphic organizers in the classroom, this workshop demonstrates that visual learning is among the very best methods for teaching students at any age or grade level how to think and learn. This workshop covers the basics of working with graphic organizers. Participants become familiar with webs, idea maps, and concept maps and successfully implement these concepts into classroom projects and applications. Sufficient background is provided that participants can return to their classrooms and feel comfortable showing students how to use the software and complete projects using Inspiration as a tool to develop important critical thinking skills.
