Standard 1 Students will expand number sense to understand, perform operations, and solve problems with rational numbers.
Objective 5 Solve problems involving rational numbers.

USOE-Approved Lesson Plans
Factors, Divisibility and Relatively Prime Identify factors of a number. Determine whether a number is prime or composite. Identify common factors given two numbers. Find pairs of numbers that are relatively prime. Factors, Prime Factorization, Multiples Find Prime Factorization of a number. Use Prime Factorization to find GCF and LCM for two numbers. Apply factors and multiples in problem solving. Integer Addition Students will add integers, solve application problems, and predict the effects of operating with integers as an increase or decrease of original value. Multiplying and Dividing Integers Multiply and divide integers. Operations With Fractions and Decimals Compute using all four operations with fractions and decimals. Subtracting Integers Students will add integers, solve application problems, and predict the effects of operating with integers as an increase or decrease of original value.
