Strand 2: MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH (MEH)

Students will identify and practice strategies that promote positive mental and emotional health.

Standard 4.MEH.1:

Identify healthy ways to manage and reduce stress (for example, exercise, hobbies, mindfulness, time management, organization).
  • Fuzzy and Frazzled

    This lesson is to help small students (and big ones alike) to help manage stress that they feel in their daily lives.

  • Stress Dolls
    Students will compare responsibilities, opportunities and expectations of pioneer children to their own lives. Students will identify sources of stress and ways to alleviate stress.
  • Stress Management
    The students will Learn ways to improve mental health and manage stress. They will identify behaviors or situations that may cause conflict or stress and create a personal stress management plan.
