Students will explore the current Dietary Guidelines and ChooseMyPlate.gov.
Objective 1
Identify the six Dietary Guidelines and the key recommendations for each. The guidelines are listed below:
 
  • Fuel Up to Play 60
    Fuel Up to Play 60 is a nationwide movement focused on fighting childhood obesity by empowering kids to take control of their own health. Educators, students and community members are making changes in schools to eat more nutritious food and get 60 minutes of exercise each day.
