  • Audrey Wood
    This site features Audrey Wood and her stories. Includes biographical information and activities.
  • Between the Lions: Stories
    This site includes a collection stories from PBS's Between the Lions series. Each story is followed by a game.
  • Coconut Words
    Read the sentence and choose the correct word that completes the sentence. Good sight word practice. Three different levels.
  • Jan Brett
    This site includes activities that match Jan Brett stories. There are masks, bookmarks, coloring pages, ABC pages, calendars, etc.
  • Online Books
    Online books kids can read themselves. Some books include click a word talking ebooks.
  • Patricia Polacco
    This site features Patricia Polacco and her stories. It includes video clips of her explaining the process she went through to create one of her books, as well as classroom activities.
  • Sight Word Practice
    This site contains three different ways to practice sight words and several different levels. It also ranges from pre primer to second grade to accomodate all levels of students in the class (just scroll down). Some of the games include multiple choice, build a word, and picking the right word.
  • What's the Word
    Students are given a picture and asked to select the word that describes the picture.
