Standard 1
(Oral Language): Students develop language for the purpose of effectively communicating through listening, speaking, viewing, and presenting.
Objective 2
Develop language through viewing media and presenting.
 
  • Aaron Shephard's Readers Theater
    A collection of stories that have been written for a reader's theater. Many of the stories include tips for presenting a reader's theater as well as other resources. A great resource for fluency practice.
  • Kidzsing Garden of Songs
    This site contains a collection of songs. The site includes the words as well as the music.
  • The Colors of Africa
    This story uses colors to teach about Africa. It provides an opportunity for students to listen to a story highlighting cultural and ethnic differences.
