By the end of the year, read and comprehend literature, including stories, dramas, and poems, in the grades 6–8 text complexity band proficiently, with scaffolding as needed at the high end of the range.

  This site includes a variety of sources for Reader's Theater, including scripts for young readers. A great resource for fluency materials.
• The Write Source
  This site contains a collection of resources from a group of teachers who publish handbooks on writing for elementary and secondary students. The site includes grade level writing process strategies, model writing samples, and ideas for writing.
