Standard 4
Students will describe relationships among units of measure, use appropriate measurement tools, and use formulas to find area measurements.
Objective 1
Describe relationships among units of measure for length, capacity, and weight, and determine measurements of angles using appropriate tools.
 
  • PBS Kids - Slueths on the Loose
    Help the Cybersquad find the height of three creatures from EcoHaven. Can you measure these creatures using non-standard measurement?
  • Score the Pour - Capacity or Volume
    Students learn about capacity and volume by finding 1 quart to 8 quarts. They have to do this by only pouring liquid from the large container to the small, and sometimes emptying and refilling the containers.
