  • Counting Books
    In this activity for kindergarteners, students make their own counting books thus reinforcing counting by 1's, 2's, 5's and other numbers.
  • Fair Shares
    This activity helps kindergarteners understand counting and how to represent addition and subtraction with objects.
  • Mingle & Count: A Game of Number Sense
    This lesson shows a game designed to practice counting by forming groups based on a given number. (5 minutes)
  • Mixing in Math Card Games
    The card games on this site are designed to help the kindergartener understand the relationship between numbers and quantities and understand addition as putting together and adding to, and understand subtraction as taking apart and taking from.
