Extend the counting sequence.
1.
Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
 
  • How Many in a Minute?
    Students pick an activity to do for a minute, count the repetitions, and compare their estimations and the results.
  • Penny Jar
    Students choose a charity and then collect pennies to donate. The activity helps the student understand how to count to 100 and understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones.
