Students will understand the transformation of cultures during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and the impact of this transformation on modern times.

  • Marco Polo and His Travels
    Learn about Marco Polo (1254-1324) who is probably the most famous Westerner who traveled on the Silk Road. His journey through Asia lasted 24 years. He traveled the whole of China and returned to tell the tale, which became the greatest travelogue.
