    Over one million children under the age of 16 died in the Holocaust. Anne Frank was one of them. View her scrapbook.
  • African American History | The Black Past
    The history of African Americans in the United States has been a paradox of incredible triumph in the face of tremendous human tragedy. This site serves as a portal to the vast and growing array of information on the Web and in other sources on the thirty seven million African Americans in the nation.
  • Guided Readings: Vietnam War
    Digital History has collected 16 readings to help readers learn about the Vietnam War.
  • Korean War Webquest: Veterans Affairs Canada
    This Webquest helps students create a book after learning in teams about different aspects of the Korean war from the point of view of the Canadian participants in the war.
  • Photos of WWI
    A collection of WWI photographs in manageable categories.
  • The Seven Phases of the Cold War
    This 10 minute summary video found on Teacher Tube breaks the Cold War down into seven phases.
  • The Voices of World War II
    This multimedia collection includes two documentaries created by WWII veterans in Washington State as well as lesson plans and activities. Some video content may need parent approval.
  • Trade - Lesson Plan on Why Nations Trade
    Global Envision created this lesson plan to help students learn about the differences between exports and imports, decisions that affect trade, and how international trade affects a nation's economy.
  • WWI: Beginnings and Progression
    In this lesson, students will examine the events and people that led the world toward global war. There are links to eight additional lessons about WWI.
