Description:
This University of Utah graduate course includes an overview of tools used in web-based applications. Tools covered will include HTML, Microsoft Frontpage, Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, and Java scripting. It is estimated that approximately five to six hours per week of independent computer laboratory time will be needed to become proficient in web creation.
Prerequisites:
Basic computer and Internet skills. A basic understanding of html is helpful but not required.

Create your resume on the Web. This will include a photo of yourself and three or more separate Web pages with navigation among the pages.
Group project - Create a computer-mediated learning product that teaches a concept or procedure using David Merrill's criteria for 5-star instruction. Details of the assignment will be given during the course.
