PTV Higher Education Learning Objects Meeting
June 6 & 7, 2006

Goal – develop white paper with common agreements and direction from the PTV system to help inform content providers regarding our learning objects service for higher education (four focus areas: delivery systems; metadata; content; licensing)
Attendees – representatives from PTV stations that have developed their own learning object services (content and technical representatives), PTV stations with strong ties to higher education, content providers, and national leaders
Pre-reading – Attendees will receive PDF documents to read and think about before attending. There may be email or conference call follow-up to the meeting.
Dress – casual University campus in June, working group meeting
Lodging – a block of rooms have been reserved at the University Guest House. Participants need to self register and are responsible for their own lodging costs
Cost – all costs for the meeting and meals at the meeting will be covered; individuals will be responsible for their own air, transportation, and lodging. |
