History:

Utah International Education Summit Recommendations
In March 2009, nearly 200 community members came together to craft recommendations for the way forward for international education. The summit, supported in part by a generous grant from the Longview Foundation and coordinated by the Utah State Board of Education in consultation with the Office of the Governor, was the catalyst for the creation of the Governor's Council for World Language and International Education, which meets regularly to further the goals of the summit.
