Enhancement Grants

The distance learning course enhancement grants program offers Utah educators in Public and Higher Education institutions a unique opportunity for curriculum development projects. The program promotes enhancement of courses that meet state core or general education requirements as well as servicing under served population groups. It encourages projects that extend the conventional boundaries of a distance learning course. Examples of projects include enhancing an EDNET, satellite, or internet-based course and related projects that would help integrate technology in a distance learning course (e.g., creating PowerPoint presentation slides, a computer simulation, or a website).

Representation

The PECCC includes representation from a wide variety of educational institutions (i.e. elementary and secondary school principals, district media and curriculum coordinators, the Utah State Office of Education, Utah State Office of Higher Education, etc.)
