TIPS FOR IMPROVING TEST SCORES


	Here are some resources & test taking tips to help your students improve their test scores.
		An Apple Core a Day... (ppt) http://www.uen.org/cforum/downloads/Apple_Core_Day.ppt Vicky Dahn created this PowerPoint presentation to assist districts. The presentation reminds educators to focus on aligning the core to instructional materials and then teaching the core for deep understanding. According to Vicky, those who follow this process have seen a nice increase in CRT scores by doing good things - not by teaching to the test.

		Create Your Own Test Items http://my.uen.org/ Utah certified teachers can log into their private my.uen page and access the USOE Test Item Pool to create their own questions.
