Art Connection
Utah art students, faculty, and art lovers throughout Utah can now enjoy a weekly TV program from UEN on TV and online featuring innovative artists and their stories. Art Connection shows Sundays at 7:00 on UEN-TV. Episodes are also online.

App of the Month

The D.I.Y. App helps students find things to build, instructions for how to build them, and ways to share their creations with others. All projects are aligned to 50 skills that run the gamut from outdoors to indoors, and feature various challenges to complete and cool badges to earn and display.

Building the MLK Monument
Building the Dream recounts the journey of an idea for a national monument honoring Martin Luther King Jr. - from a group of friends talking around a kitchen table to the creation of this permanent symbol - to ensure King's Dream will remain alive for future generations. Saturday, January 18 at 9:00 p.m.


New Program featuring Business Leaders
The Ideas Exchange (new series) Produced by BBC World News, pairs business leaders from around the world to discuss the current business landscape and reveal the secrets to their success. In each episode, two leading business figures - each representing a different industry - sit down for a free-flowing conversation about their experiences running a global organization. The dialogue covers broad topics from globalization to industry-specific issues. They share lessons learned, the influences behind their decisions, their major regrets, their predictions and their greatest hopes for the future. In-between, dynamic field reports capture the stories behind the success of each business. Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. beginning January 21.

MHz Worldview 9.2

Weekly Health Program
Nationally-renowned cancer specialist and radio personality Dr. Elmer Huerta hosts this innovative, Spanish-language medical program Hablemos de Salud. Produced at the MHz Networks studios just outside the nation’s capital, Hablemos de Salud features commentary from Dr. Huerta on general health topics, medical news, answers to viewer calls and interviews with guests from various health-related fields. In Spanish, with English captions. Watch Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.


Critically Acclaimed film about Higher Education
At Berkeley explores the major aspects university life, its intellectual and social mission, its obligations to the state and to larger ideas of higher education, and how decisions are made and implemented in this oldest and most prestigious member of the ten campus California public education system. Watch on Tuesday January 14 at 11:00 p.m.
New Series
January is the premier month for two popular PBS series on KUED. Watch Downton Abbey Season 4 Sundays starting January 5 at 8:00 pm and Sherlock Season 2 Thursdays at 8 pm starting January 2.
