Bear River Renovation
Boxelder District will be renovating Bear River HS, They will be building new MDF for the relocation of Fronteir and possibly Conterra. We have already met with Fronteir to indentify the installation of new 4" conduits to relocate the coppper and new fiber for future growth. The projected MDF completion date is June 2009. |

Frontier has completed the new entrance cable, waiting for the new MDF to be completed. Boxeleder, will provide conduit for the old MDF to the new MDF also conduit and multi-mode fiber from the new MDF to Conterra Mono pole. Alos providing conduit and fiber to swimming pool to new MDF.

Met with Fonteir and the Boxelder District and BNA on May 8th, to discuss the qty's of conduit's and pathways for the relocation of the copper and fiber to new MDF, located on the 2nd floor. The District will also be installing new conduit and fiber (multi mode) to the swimming pool and Conterra Mono Pole. I will be waiting for pricing from Fronteir for the relocation of services.

All t1's are installed and the Division of Rehab have recieved all video equipment. The Gig circuit, we are waiting for due date from Nortel, waiting cards. In the QWEST meeting, we discussed billing the one-time cost prior to September 1.

A new location at 3098 South Highland Drive has been selected for GigE services. A T1 will be ordered and used until Gig services can be installed. The Conner Street location will remain open with the existing T1s.

Priority items for the start of school were discussed;
1. Rollover of summer DB; we will roll over the DB the weekend of the 23rd to start fresh on the 25th.
2. Reporting; discussed needs for reporting tool and suggestions for layout and export options.
3. An e-mail contact field will be added so e-mail updates can be sent for those that need/request it.
4. We agreed to about a 3 month development cycle

-evaluate how QT pulls auto population data for IVC events and sites
- Add an e-mail notification field to ticket entry area
- Need to incorporate RSG groups and accounts as needed, develop processes and instructions for use
- Need to build reporting functions into the current tool
- Agree to a regular development/update schedule; recommend every 3 months
- Create a secure password and login for tool
- Re-delegation function; need to be able to delegate, delegated tickets to other dept.'s for hand off
- Average Ticket Age: need to remove the ticket accrual time for the handler dept. once delegated to another dept.
- Create a Contact mgt database
- SIP Phone system integration

We are exploring multiple options in case the County will not be able to obtain the rights of ways and installation are not complete by August. One of the option is Kevin Dent is getting costs for dark fiber to Canyon Veiw and CentraComm is looking at getting a Gig circuit from the Word Building back to UVU. However they would be splicing at Canyon Veiw or a near by splice which feeds Canyon Veiw.

Met with Utah County concerning Pacific Corp application for rights of way, the app, has not been submitted due existing contract which needs to be signed. The contract should be delivered to UEN the first part of April and after the contract is signed they will apply for the right of ways. This fiber build needs to completed by the first part of August 2008.
