How will I get course materials?
You can pick up course textbooks and materials from the UVU campus bookstore or mail order them from the UVU campus bookstore.
How will I access library materials?
Some materials are made available in the course packet. An ID card gives you access to the library and allows you to check out tapes at Library Services.
How will I interact with the course faculty?
You can visit faculty at a UVU campus during office hours. Faculty are also available by phone during office hours or by voicemail. You may also communicate by fax, postal mail, email, or other online methods. Each faculty member will make clear the methods of communication available for a particular telecourse.
How will I interact with other students in the course?
You may participate in discussion sessions with other students held at a UVU campus. Faculty members may also use online methods or telephone conference calls to help students communicate.
How will I turn in assignments?
Faculty may direct you to drop off assignments at a UVU distance learning site or submit them through email or other online methods.
How will I take quizzes and tests?
You will take quizzes and tests at a campus testing center at times specified by the course instructor. Proctored tests may be arranged by the student and Distance Education Service Center.
How will I receive my grade?
You can receive your grade for a telecourse by postal mail, or you can pick up your grade on campus.
