UEN provides Utah educators cost-effective, technology-related professional development opportunities to improve the quality of K-20 education.

Service Description
Content Forum (C-Forum) C-Forum is a community of K-20 technology integration instructors and specialists from across the state that meets monthly.
Educational Technology Endorsement Program Practicing teachers can earn a technology endorsement on their USOE teaching license through this instructional program which combines University of Utah and UEN courses. Endorsements are authorized by USOE.
Faculty Lounge Educators can learn how to use the latest tech tools and techniques as well as curriculum-tied resources available through UEN by participating in this live weekly webcast Thursdays from 3:30–4:00 p.m.
Information & Outreach Sessions UEN’s Professional Development instructors provide awareness sessions on Pioneer Online Library, UEN Resources and tools, and other technology-related topics by request.
Instructional Design Consulting UEN’s experienced instructors can help you plan the design and delivery of effective, engaging courses that use a wide array of technologies.
Professional Development Management System With this online system, educators can browse and register for UEN Professional Development courses at their convenience. Because the system is integrated with my.uen, educators can check their status in courses as well as track their attendance and credit history. It also facilitates tracking and reporting of sessions and evaluation data.
Technology Integration Professional Development UEN offers more than 80 different workshops and classes aligned with national standards for which SUU and/or USOE credit is available.  Learning opportunities are available in online, broadcast/blended and in-person formats.  For information on trainings on the UEN-run Internet Video Conferencing (IVC) delivery system for concurrent enrollment and higher education courses, visit our Distance Education page.
Video Tutorials Educators may view video tutorials on a variety of software programs including over 40 sessions on Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
UEN-TV Workshops Participants can earn credit by viewing national programs (broadcast on UEN-TV or online) and completing online discussions, lessons and activities.
