The Annual Utah Multimedia Arts Festival will be held Monday, May 12, 2008 at Utah State Valley College in Orem. Major sponsors are UVSC, Salt Lake Community College, the Utah State Office of Education CTE Department and the Utah Education Network.
The festival
is an opportunity for Utah high school and college students
to display their work and to educate the public about professional
multimedia in Utah . The public is welcome to attend.
Contestants must not
be full-time multimedia professionals. Awards
will be given in each category and division. High School
Division contestants will also compete for individual
half-tuition scholarships with appropriate grade qualifications
to UVSC. Individuals and teams may enter.
