J&L Bend and West Straightaway (10)

The brick wall shown in these photos turns the stream north again, around J & L Garden Center's storage building and creates the west straightaway. This location has also been proposed as the site for the pond. Photo on right is taken after the high runoff.

The river turns west at the end of the straightaway, leaves Meadowbrook's property and continues on until it disappears into a grating and under the freeway. A canal and pipe combination delivers the water to the Great Salt Lake. Click here to see a map of the stream's destination.
