Lesson Plans

Strand: RESPOND (7-8.T.R.)

Students will perceive and analyze artistic work and process. They will interpret intent and meaning, and apply criteria to evaluate artistic work and process (Standards 7-8.T.R.1-7).

Standard 7-8.T.R.1:

Describe and demonstrate audience skills of observing attentively and responding appropriately in classroom presentations, rehearsals, and live performance settings.
  • Vocal Acting
    This lesson plan uses filmmaking to demonstrate vocal acting, creativity, imagination, and dramtic structure.  Even though this plan is tied to 7th & 8th grade Utah Fine Arts Standards in Theatre they can be used for High School as well.(This resource's preview image: "Film" by Gerd Altmann free for comercial use no attribution required.
