Students will participate in activities that help increase their self-awareness, values, goals, decision making strategies, and career options.

Classify short- and long-term goals and the steps needed to achieve them.

• Goal Setting - Mission Statement
  Lesson on how to write a personal mission statement, decide on a personal hero, and combat fear. Could be used at the end of the year after the State Test.

  Help students to learn to set goals and to distinguish between long and short term goals.

  Goals help us achieve what we want in our lives. The goals we set should reflect the values we have.

  Students will understand the goal setting process, compare short- and long-term goals, and set short-term and long-term goals that are consistent with personal values.
