Body Systems RAFT
Students will make selections concerning the role, audience, and format for a writing assignment to answer the question "How is one body system related to another within an organism?".

Organ Systems Presentations Project
Students will prepare a presentation to educate their classmates about one of the systems found in living things.

Organ Systems with Oprah
This is a literacy activity where students write a script for an "Oprah" television show featuring a cell, tissue, organ and organ system. The participants share what aspect of the system they contribute to and what their relationship is with other parts.

Testing an Organ System
Students will choose an organ or organ system and design an experiment to test it.

The Organ Entrails Research Project
This a high interest inquiry/research project for students. The student groups will become expert on one organ system.

The Precarious Path of a Particle
Students will write an essay tracing a "particle" through one of the major organ systems.
