Effective communication includes recognizing non-verbal cues, choosing the message, and recognizing barriers to communication. Students will identify and demonstrate effective non-verbal communication.

    This activity demonstrates the advantages and disadvantages of one-way and two-way communication using Tinker Toys. This activity comes from a publication entitled "Communications and Human Relations Activities for Work Adjustment" created by the Utah State Board for Vocational Education.
