Strand 5: NUTRITION (N)Students will develop lifelong strategies for healthy eating, body image, and understanding the food environment around them.
Standard HI.N.4:Identify internal and external influences on body image.
This lesson is written as an interdisciplinary unit for both the Health and Science classrooms. It can however, be taught in just one of the classes.
The students are to create a Lucidchart and include 2 lucid charts on the importance of a healthy body image and develop appropriate weight management behaviors.
