Music offers students the opportunity to learn songs, create music, develop self-expression, and build cultural understanding with self and others.
Standard FA 3 yr.3.5
With prompting and support, begin to explore folk songs and singing games from various cultures.

Culture - Things that Make You Unique
Help children recognize traditions they have in their own families and provide them with an opportunity to share part of that culture with others. Have child(ren) share a drawing, a photo, music they enjoy, food, etc.

Read - Fry Bread
Child(ren) will read the book Fry Bread with an adult for the first time. Story will be re-read several times during the week.
