Strand 4: VISUAL ARTS

Visual arts provide sensory, expressive, and social opportunities through the use of various media and materials to create drawings, pictures, or 3D art.

Standard FA 3 yr.4.4

With prompting and support, talk with peers and/or adults about the art they created.

• Create Musical Instruments
  Children will make their own musical instruments, use those instruments to create and perform a musical piece for an audience. 
• Culture - Things that Make You Unique
  Help children recognize traditions they have in their own families and provide them with an opportunity to share part of that culture with others. Have child(ren) share a drawing, a photo, music they enjoy, food, etc. 
• Visual Arts - Dragons Love Tacos
  Children will create decorations, party gifts, and pretend food for a party they want to throw. Encourage them to create decorations, hats, signs, invitations, food, etc.
