Students will understand, evaluate and articulate how works of art convey meaning for the observer as well as the creator (Standards 4.V.R.1-4).

Standard 4.V.R.1:

Compare responses to a work of art before and after working in similar media.

  • Coyote Steals Fire
    This lesson is written in partnership with and approved by the Northwestern Shoshone cultural specialist Patty Timbimboo-Madsen. Student will learn about the history and culture of the Northwestern Shoshone people. Paint a watercolor landscape of an environment with Utah wildlife.
