Use combined knowledge of all letter-sound correspondences, syllabication patterns, and morphology (e.g., roots and affixes) to read accurately unfamiliar multisyllabic words in context and out of context.

• Amori's Reading Goals
  This Teaching Channel video demonstrates an educator helping Amori with her decoding skills to access difficult material and vocabulary. (5 min.)
• Fish 'Em Up
  Spelling endings - Shall we double the letter and add "ing" ? Or do we change the "y" to an "i" and ad "ed". Learn about word patterns.
• Short Circuit
  Maggie needs help fixing a short circuit in her computer, and she needs your help. By linking the prefixes and suffixes to their meaning, you can really help her out.
• SpellaRoo
  SpellaRoo can hop better than he can spell. Help him out. Click on the word that is spelled wrong. If you get twenty right, you will go to the "Land of Joeys". To start, click on a level.
• Spelling City
  VocabularySpellingCity is an educational game website that helps you learn vocabulary and spelling through 25 interactive learning games and activities. Students: you can practice your spelling and vocabulary word lists using our free educational games.
• The Plural Girls
  Twin sisters Pearl and Flora lost their friends in the bubble machine. Help them get their friends out by choosing the correct plural form of the given word.
