Summary

Students will learn about scientific method through the use of an article on dark matter.


Materials


Instructional Procedures

  1. Have students fill out the "before" section on the opinionaire.
  2. Assign the "Dark Matter" reading and have students fill out the "after" section the opinionaire. While students are filling out the "after" sections, ask them to underline the sections of the reading that support their answers and then discuss their answers with a partner or group.
  3. Assign the final question as a conclusion.
