Chere: I love the math and science recommendations for my 6th grader son.
Justin B: The Canvas learning management system is changing the way teachers teach and students learn. The Utah legislature recently agreed to fund Canvas licensing costs for K-12 Public schools as an ongoing appropriation.
Jared F: A fantastic database with great resources about people and places from all over the world. This should be your go to site for social studies and elementary teachers.
Justin R: Find videos on any topic, for any grade level, from anywhere, at any time.
Jenn: Every time I've tested it, it tells me I should go for the job I have. Since I love my job, I think it must be super accurate!
Gale Research Databases
Shannon: Amazing age appropriate (3 separate databases for different ages) content for whatever topic you're looking for more information on. Easy enough to use that you could start the year with a research project and spend minimal time training your students on how to use this database!
Tim: A great set of resources for students and parents - much better than just going to Google.
Jami: There is something for everyone! ACT, AP, GED test prep and practice exams, career entrance exam prep, resume and interviewing tips, computer skill improvement, and resources in Spanish!
Rob: Reading recommendations for young readers: expert recommendations, reviews, articles, lists
Jared C: For a fun way to extend your students' learning, check out these incredible activities. Find interactives for all subject areas and grade levels.
Michael: Just in time short Professional Development stories of success with technology for teaching and learning.
UEN Resources for K-12 Education
Michelle: There are so many resources on uen.org that it can be hard to find them. This tool is a quick and easy way to search all of the many "mini" sites we have within uen.org and some outside ones as well. They are organized by subject area or searchable by keyword.
Kyle: UEN-TV really is "TV for Thinkers." Check out the wide variety of programs for every age.
Max: Great college and career resources.
Jessica: Utah counties is a great resource for 4th graders studying the counties of Utah or for anyone looking to visit one the many beautiful places in Utah.
Utah's Digital Newspapers
Dani: Free access to decades and decades of scanned and digitized newspapers! This is an amazing resource for teachers and students alike. I love not having to go to the county library to use the microfiche!
Utah's Online Library
Karen: This one-of-a-kind online library provides Utah students and educators access to high quality reference collections.
