Mystery Science Theater 3000: Hercules and the Captive Women

Series info on UEN-TV

In this episode of MST3K, the crew takes on the 1961 film “Hercules and the Captive Women”. In it, the legendary strongman takes on the wicked Queen of Atlantis who’s determined to kill her daughter to avert the fulfillment of a prophesy. Curiously, the queen never seems to explore the possibility of a mass evacuation to protect her people without killing her child, even though Herc could surely carry a whole lot of luggage.

MST3K jolted new life into old movies with its wraparound low-budget production of the adventures of Joel Robinson and his robots, Crow, Tom Servo and Gypsy who are trapped on a space station and subjected to watching bad movies by an evil scientist.
