The Beast of Hollow Mountain

Who—or what—is stalking cattle? In this 1956 classic, ranchers Jimmy and Felipe are forced to confront the impossible during times of drought, a prehistoric creature emerges from its swamp at the base of a mountain to feed.
Released in Mexico as La bestia de la montaña, the film may have been the first to feature dinosaurs and cowboys together. Watch “Beast of Hollow Mountain” and decide for yourself whether there’s a good reason the list of films in this subgenre is exceptionally short.
