Instructional Procedures

Distribute one questionnaire (Word doc) to each student to complete as they tour the exhibit.

Below are the questions:

  1. How many panels are in the exhibit?
  2. Name the president seen in the first panel.
  3. What city is the sister city to Salt Lake City in the exhibit?
  4. In what year did it become the sister city?
  5. Draw three of the Japanese symbols seen on the panel.
  6. On the 1948 panel, what is the name of the man standing on the San Francisco Bay Bridge?
  7. On the 1958 panel, who is the man from the University of Utah? What did he do?
  8. Describe Fumio Hongo's clothing in the 1968 panel (either picture).
  9. What famous building in Salt Lake City is on this panel?
  10. On the 1978 panel, a wedding is shown. Whose wedding was it?
  11. What is the name of the man playing the violin?
  12. What is he famous for?
  13. On the relating culture panel, what are some the Utah activities citizens from Matsumoto were able to participate in?
