Summary:
This lesson provides an introduction to the basic parts of the computer. It can be taught to the entire class or can be used by students individually.

Standard 4 Objective 4-1
Students will demonstrate basic knowledge and application of hardware, software, and Internet use.

Materials:
PowerPoint and video projector. Students will also need a copy of the worksheet.

Background For Teachers:
This lesson can be taught to the entire class at once by showing the PowerPoint and discussing it. Students can also complete this assignment individually. The teacher may also want to have samples of actual computer parts to show students as well.
