Background For Teachers: Students should submit a slide show outline before beginning computer input. A required outline will help students focus on the assignment's purpose. A completed outline reduces the time needed for content input and organization, insures higher quality work, and reduces time-wasting detours. Students should first gather, critique, and format information before working on transitions and other enhancements. Remind students that show enhancements should support the message and content not distract from it.
Student Prior Knowledge: Students should be familiar with ** drive/directory selection ** ** open, save, print files ** ** basic word processing functions ** **formatting font changes** ** inserting graphics ** Intended Learning Outcomes: ** Students will plan, design, and organize a multimedia project using a paper outline. ** **Students will create a ten-slide computer presentation that includes: • two or more font faces with varied appearance, size, and color • choice of consistent background • transitions • graphics • animations are optional Instructional Procedures: To be determined by classroom teacher.
