Gravity - Head For the Hills!

Gravity changes the speed in which objects go up and down hills. Gravity affects all objects and is always pulling downward. When objects move on hills and inclines, the movement of the object changes with the steepness of the hill.

Have you ever ridden your bike or skateboard on hills? What happens as you go up a hill? What happens as you go up steeper hills?

When you go downhill, do you zoom along? Do you feel like you are flying as you go down steeper hills?

Changes in the steepness or incline make it easier or more difficult for an object up or down a hill.
