Summary

Introduction of how one goes about selecting a career, sources to use when researching numerous careers, the impact of career choices on income, financial stability, goals and dreams. Identify the benefits of education, training and personal skills (SCAN Skills) needed in careers. Practice filling out job applications, what to include in a resume, the hiring process, how to interview, employer expectations, benefits offered to employees, hidden costs of a job, the risks and rewards of being an entrepreneur or self-employed.

Intended Learning Outcomes
