2 class periods that run 90 minutes each.


 

Summary:
Introduction of the payroll process, determining ones income, deductions taken out of paychecks (taxes, insurance, charitable contributions, retirement), fixed and variable expenses to expect and money management.

Students will understand sources of income and the relationship between career preparation and lifetime earning power.
