    Materials:
    A PowerPoint projector for the presentation. Copy lesson plans and handouts.

    Background For Teachers:
    Reading of the chapter and familiarity with blended family issues.

    Student Prior Knowledge:
    Reading of the chapter and familiarity with blended family issues.

    Intended Learning Outcomes:
    Students will identify strengths and weaknesses of various family forms: single-parent families, blended families, and binuclear families. Students will identify the complexities of the step-parent role and remarriage.

    Instructional Procedures:
    Print all lesson plans and handouts provided on the FHS 2400 CD. Follow the PowerPoint presentations.

    Assessment Plan:
    Students will have completed the reading test before coming to class. A final Exam will be given on the chapter.
